Maybe I should open a marble shop.
As a matter of fact, I still have quite a few marbles from years back. They make their way into my sculptures from time to time.
Made this guy almost 20 years ago.
This fishy has light blue purie eyes.
And most recently, Shypappy's scorpion acquired a set of marble eyes.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't think I do have any marbles. When I was a kid, we had a ton of them just laying around the house. It was impossible to go anywhere without stumbling across a marble. My grandfather was a flea market junkie, pretty much, and had jars and jars of marbles that he'd accumulated over the years that he'd give to my sister and I. They eventually all got lost, or thrown away, or just sort of vanished mysteriously over the years. I doubt I could find a single one now.Originally posted by sculpey:
What I find amazing is how many of us have the right size marble just sitting around in the house somewhere.
However, I do have a number of beads that would be the right size, so I just plan on using one of those.
